FAQ

Our creative director, Richard Nodine, began a career in graphic arts at the age of 14 when he stumbled into a summer job creating signs for a small theme park in his native New Jersey. Later, he graduated from New York’s Parsons School of Design and won a post with the international advertising firm of Young and Rubicam.

From there he explored several positions in retail, an industry that had always held great appeal for him. He served in three divisions of the R.H. Macy Corporation holding the position of Display Director and Art Director for Point-of-Sale and Packaging. He contributed to Macy’s prolific branding and development program, designing product, packaging and logos. His design abilities enhanced several major art and cultural exhibits developed by the retailer and he traveled broadly to amass these collections.

The September/October 1982 edition of the prestigious journal Communications Arts highlighted his department and their unique contribution to retail.

In 1987, Richard fulfilled a long-time ambition by founding Pacific Print Media, an agency devoted to bringing corporate quality sales promotion to the entrepreneur. Today, he divides his time between that firm and DesignMasterLogos.com.
